Vacation in Crimea with children

Our hotel is a unique opportunity for a family vacation with children of all ages.

In our region, the bathing season lasts for about four months – from early June to the final days of September. The temperature of the air at this time is normally +25-28 C, and the sea gets as warm as +22-25 C. Here, cloudy or rainy weather is very rare, while fresh breezes often blow, creating a far more pleasant and tolerable environment in contrast to the South Coast of Crimea. For instance, the children who come here from Moscow or Saint Petersburg acclimatize very quickly within two or three days without even noticing it.

Another crucial factor for a family vacation with children under seven years old is the presence of wonderful shallow beaches, where the water gets as warm as +28 C. Near the hotel, there is the amazing so called Golden Beach, where the sand consists of bright-yellow marine cockleshells finely scuffed by the tides. Walking barefoot on such beach is extremely good for your baby’s health, and it will prevent him or her from having a flat-foot.

Pediatricians say that this region is the ultimate for climate therapy for children with chronic diseases of respiratory tracts, cardiovascular diseases and are those who are inclined to acute respiratory diseases. The mild sea climate, the dry steep climate, and the healthy air from the pine forests uniquely combined, give a significant invigorative and health-improving effect.
The nearby village of Peschanoye offers an ocean of opportunities for entertainment of children: water and beach amusements, playgrounds, animation programs of children's camps.

The peninsula of Crimea is a never-exhausting treasury of positive impressions for teenagers. In any season, they are offered journeys and hiking tours, educational and entertainment programs according to their interests. This includes various cultural centers of different ethnic groups that inhabit or were inhabiting Crimea, cave cities of Crimea, and monuments of the military history of Russia (the Sevastopol museums), the Crimean Observatory (in Nauchnoye), and the underground world of the Chatyrdag cave complexes.

Vacation with children in Crimea in any season of year!

In summer Crimea offers four dolphinariums, three grand aquaparks and over ten amusement parks. Numerous childrens music and drama festivals take place in various picturesque places. Also, there is a children’s café with ethnic-style design on the Ai-Petri mountain plateau where children can also learn oriental dances, Crimean Tatar national cuisine, and camel riding. The plateau can be reached by car or by a funicular railway from the settlement of Miskhor.

Near Yalta, there is the famous Fairytales Glade and the rich Yalta Zoo where children can interact with the animals. Young people who are fond of nature will also find it interesting to attend the Crimean nature and landscape reserve, the Sevastopol aquarium the Swan Islands (Portovoye settlement), and the Bird Park in the forehills of Chatyrdag. All nature parks in Crimea function and accept guests all year round, offering special excursions for children, too, but you will admire them the most if you attend them in October or November, when the Crimean forests are especially beautiful and rich in colour.

At any time of year, you can attend the Crimean Puppet Theatre and the Simferopol Children’s Park with its diverse amusements, 50-metre ferris wheel, small aquarium and a zoo. One of the most distinguishing places of interest in the capital of Crimea is the Simferopol State Circus – one of Ukraine’s most famous circuses, well-known for its New Year and Christmas programs.

In wintertime the whole family can go sledging or skiing in the locality of the Angarski mountain pass with well-equipped safe routes for children and all the necessary equipment available for hire.
Holiday programs and costumed performances are available in the children’s and family cafés in Sevastopol and Simferopol during the winter holidays.
