Playing petanque at the beach's sand level
Games similar to petanque existed in Ancient Greek and Ancient Rome. In Greece they usually used round rocks for training long-distance throwing, and the Romans threw wooden balls bounded round with metal to train precision. The variants of this game are also known as curling and bocce and are very popular among people of various ages. Anyway, at the MAR LE MAR beach, both kids and adults are fond of this game.
